Philippine Deputy Consul General Wilfredo Santos, together with Consul Alfonso Ver, Vice Consul Leah Rodriguez, Mr. Rene Cornista, and Ms. Rose Narvaja Cornista joined the 5K/Progressive Race.
Mr. John Jiao and Mr. Gabriel Agcaoili of the Tourism Office in San Francisco participated in the longer 21K Half Marathon.
All of the Consulate's marathon participants finished their respective races and received commemorative medals for their effort.
The Consulate General has been actively involved in this annual marathon, having participated in previous years.
The San Francisco Marathon is a USA Track and Field-certified course and is a Boston Marathon qualifying race. END
