AIM Honors Secretary Del Rosario As First Washington Sycip Distinguished Management Leader

11 December 2011 -  The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) conferred the first Washington Sycip Distinguished Management Leader Award to Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario during its 2011 Commencement Exercises today at Fuller Hall, AIM Building in Makati City.

Secretary del Rosario, recognized as the first recipient of the award which was established to celebrate the 90th birthday of Mr. Washington Sycip, was also the Guest Speaker at the graduation rites.

Secretary del Rosario, who is known to have a distinguished career as a leader in business and in government, was given the award for he embodied the leadership qualities exemplified by Mr. Sycip in his career. Mr. Sycip, Chairman Emeritus of the AIM Board of Trustees and one of its founding fathers, carved a permanent place in the history of the Institute as he successfully mobilized support for an Asian Institute of Management.
