14 FILIPINO SEAMEN DETAINED IN NIGERIA ARRIVE IN MANILA |

15 August 2008 – 14 Filipino seafarers of the MT Dania GRT 1530, arrived safely in Manila today, via PR 301, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal I. The seamen were welcomed by Executive Director Crescente R. Relacion (front row, rightmost), of the DFA Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs.
The crewmembers of MT Dania were: Captain Rey Chavez (3rd from L), Chief Mate Nelson Corpin (4th from L), Antonio Longino, Jun Garcenila, Judel Garcenila, Eugenio Mediano, Jose Palmero, Tirzo Olaivar, Jerome Competente, Joselito Gabion, Rito Bajoyo, Rexy Aldovino, Louie Gillesania, and Mark Dimaano.
