Public Advisory: On the Temporary Restriction on Visa Issuance for Travelers from Hubei, China

 31 January 2020 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that visa issuance for travelers coming from the Hubei Province of China is temporarily suspended effective immediately.

Foreign Service Posts in China including the Philippine Embassy in Beijing and the Consulates General in Chongqing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Xiamen, and Shanghai, which has jurisdiction over Wuhan and Hubei, are temporarily suspending the issuance of visas for travelers coming from Hubei Province of China pursuant to Resolution No. 01-2020 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases dated 28 January 2020.
