Public Advisory: On Essential Travels to Israel

13 March 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reiterates its advice to the public to defer non-essential travels to Israel (e.g. tourism) in view of Israel’s imposed travel guidelines in response to the 2019 coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Should foreign nationals, including Filipinos, however, find their travels to Israel essential, they are required to obtain clearance from the Israeli Ministry of Interior, through the Consular Section of the Embassy of Israel in Manila, prior to their departure.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of Israel in Manila can be contacted through e-mail, facebook, and telephone. The public is advised not to proceed to the Embassy as it is not admitting visitors as a precautionary measure in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Contact details of the Embassy of Israel in Manila is available on its websites: http://embassies.gov.il/manila. END
