1. Afghanistan
|
As of 15 May 2020, the Government of Afghanistan has re-opened its border with Iran, which had been closed briefly to all air and ground travel. All foreign airlines (Emirates, Fly Dubai, Turkish Airlines, Air India) and Kam Air have announced the suspension of services from Kabul. There are currently no commercial options for international travelers leaving Kabul.

2. Albania
|
As of 15 May 2020, all persons who have entered Albania from the risk-epidemiological areas identified by the World Health Organization are required to complete the traveler's file at the border crossing points and shall be subject to compulsory 15-day self-quarantine from the date of entry into the border.

3. Algeria
|
All land borders closed. Suspended all air and sea travel with Europe and Africa. Non-cargo international air and maritime travel suspended. Domestic flights suspended as of 22 March 2020.

4. Angola
|
Borders closed.

5. Antigua and Barbuda
|
Entry ban on foreign nationals who have travelled to China, Italy, Iran, Japan, South Korea and Singapore in the previous 28 days

6. Argentina
|
Any foreigner who is not a resident in Argentina will not be permitted to enter Argentina until 01 April 2020.

7. Armenia
|
As of 17 May 2020, Nationwide State of Emergency in effect until 13 June. Land borders remain closed. All foreign travelers are banned from entry. Returning citizens are required to undergo quarantine.

8. Aruba
|
Complete border closure. Effective 17 March, midnight through 31 March, Aruba will restrict entry to all travelers except for legal residents of Aruba.

9. Australia
|
Border Closure. Australian citizens and permanent residents are not permitted to travel overseas. Dual nationals, or foreign nationals with permanent residency status in Australia, need to secure an exemption from the ABF Commissioner before they can leave Australia, even if using the passport of their other nationality. 10. Austria
|
The EU entry ban for all non-necessary travels of persons from third countries to Europe (all EU Member States, Schengen States and UK) is in place until 15 May 2020. 11. Bahrain
|
As of 15 May 2020, arriving passengers who have visited China, Egypt, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand 14 days prior to their arrival in the Kingdom shall be subjected to mandatory testing.

12. Belarus
|
Due to border closures, flights are limited so stay of visa-free travelers is extended from 30 days to 90 days. Those arriving from China, Iran, South Korea or Italy or other countries where the virus is active are encouraged to undergo testing at the airport.

13. Bangladesh
|
Passengers arriving from or transiting through European countries (except the UK) are not permitted to enter Bangladesh from March 16 to 31. VOA has been suspended for all nationals. Passengers arriving from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and India are required to undergo a compulsory 14-day self-quarantine immediately upon arrival. Passengers arriving from People’s Republic of China (including Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan), Iran, Italy or Republic of Korea (South Korea) with a pre-arranged visa must have a medical certificate that confirms they tested negative for COVID-19. Diplomatic passport holders with a valid sticker / label visa may be exempted, “OK to Board” must be obtained from the local authority during check-in. Customers with a confirmed Bangladesh Board of Investment (BOI) must travel with a valid sticker / label visa.

15. Belize
|
All borders closed. Most ports of entry closed except the Santa Elena Border and Philip Goldson International Airport. Entry of foreigners not allowed. Belizeans are not allowed to leave the country. Travel restriction will be reevaluated after 30 days.

16. Benin
|
All air travelers to Benin will be placed in a government-designated quarantine facility for a period of 14 days in self-isolation. For non-Beninese travelers, the costs of stay will be incurred by the traveler. Travelers must provide information on their travel history and health status by filling out a Travel and Health Questionnaire and undergo enhanced screening measures including a thorough review of their questionnaire and the verification of body temperature with infrared cameras.

17. Bhutan
|
As of 19 May 2020, operation of all scheduled international commercial passenger flights from several countries is further suspended until 30 May 2020 (2359 hrs BST)

18. Botswana
|

22. Brazil
|
Restriction of entry of foreign visitors at land borders with Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Suriname and French Guiana on 19 March, following a similar restriction at the Venezuelan border. Restriction does not apply to foreigners with permanent residence, diplomats and international agency officials, as well as trucks transporting goods.

23. Brunei
|
The temporary travel restriction prohibiting the entry of foreign nationals to Brunei Darussalam, which is still being implemented since 24 March 2020, is still in effect.

24. Bulgaria
|

26. Cambodia
|
As of 22 May 2020, the travel ban on foreigners from Iran, Italy, Germany, Spain, France, and the US has been lifted. The following entry requirements shall continue to apply to foreigners (except diplomats): (a) a medical certificate issued within 72 hours of arriving in Cambodia stating that the foreigner has tested negative for COVID-19; and (b) an insurance policy showing minimum medical coverage of not less than USD 50,000 for the duration of stay in Cambodia. All passengers arriving in Cambodia will be accompanied to a reception center for COVID-19 testing and stay at said center while waiting for the test results. If a person tests positive, the other passengers will be subjected to a 14-day quarantine at a location designated by the Cambodian government. If all passengers test negative, they will be allowed to a 14-day self isolation at their respective houses under the supervision of local authorities and health officials. Moreover, they will be required to take a COVID- 19 testing on the 13th day of the self-isolation.

27. Cameroon
|
Closed all land, air and sea borders indefinitely starting March 18. International flights were suspended, with the exception of cargo planes.

28. Canada
|
Restriction of entry except for Canadian citizens or permanent residents, their immediate family, aeroplane crew members, diplomats, and US citizens. As of 19 March, all non-essential travel through the US-Canada border is restricted.

29. Cape Verde
|
All sea borders closed and restricted flights from 18 March 2020

30. Cayman Islands (UK)
|
All persons entering after 16 March 2020 and all household contacts strictly practice self-isolation at home or in a government provided facility for 14 full days. Owen Roberts International Airport and the Charles Kirkconnell International Airport closed for international passenger flights for three weeks, starting 22 March 2020. Docking of cruise ships in ports prohibited.

31. Chad
|
All international flights suspended.

32. Chile
|
Closed its borders indefinitely to non-resident foreigners starting March 18. Any citizen returning from high-risk countries must quarantine for 14 days. Also prohibited the docking of cruise ships in Chilean ports as of March 15.

33. China (Mainland)
|
Effective 28 March 2020, China has decided to temporarily suspend the entry into China by foreign nationals holding visas or residence permits and by foreign nationals with APEC Business Travel Cards.Entry with diplomatic service, courtesy or C visas will not be affected. Starting 27 April 2020, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport required all passengers to present their health code or Suikan code after undergoing temperature check. 34. Colombia
|
Restricted entry of all foreign nationals who travelled to Europe or Asia in the past 14 days, with the exception of foreign residents and diplomats. All land, air and sea borders will remain shut until May 30.

35. Comoros
|
All international commercial flights, with the exception of cargo flights, are suspended starting 23 March 2020 until further notice. All movement of people between East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mozambique, etc.) and the Union of the Comoros is strictly prohibited.

36. Congo
|
All travelers from China, Italy, South Korea, Iran and France will be quarantined for 14 days. The quarantine sites are in Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire.

37. Cook Islands
|
Entry ban on all travelers except New Zealand passport and/or permanent resident holders, Australian citizens and permanent residents who normally live in New Zealand, Cook Islanders, permanent residents of the Cook Islands, Cook Islands work permit holder, Cook Island Residents permit holders and their immediate family members.

38. Costa Rica
|
Borders closed until April 12 except for citizens, residents, and foreign diplomats. Entry will also be permitted for any immediate family (partner or spouse, legal guardian and dependent children) if they are travelling with one of the above persons.

39. Côte d'Ivoire
|
Land, aviation and maritime borders closed on 22 March 2020 for an indeterminate period of time. Cargo shipments will not be affected.

40. Croatia
|

|
Effective 16 March, Curacao will restrict entry to Curacao to all travelers except for legal residents of Curacao. Its travel restrictions pertain to visitors from all countries and islands, including regional travel.

43. Cyprus
|
As of 12 May 2020, travel ban extended until 28 May 2020. All local and international flights between the island’s airports and third countries, including all other EU members, as well as Lichtenstein, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland are banned. Exempted from the ban are cargo flights, empty inbound flights that intends to fly out people who wishes to leave the island, and emergency and humanitarian flights.

Effective 20 May until 15 June 2020, anyone entering France from outside Europe should observe a voluntary 14-day quarantine. Only essential travel is allowed and everyone crossing the border needs an international travel certificate. A reciprocal 14-day quarantine on travellers from Spain shall be imposed after the latter announced its quarantine measure last 15 May 2020.

|
Partial Closure of Borders. Foreign nationals cannot enter if transiting to banned countries. Effective 24 April 2020 until 15 May 2020, all international arrivals to Iceland must be quarantined for 14 days from their day of arrival. During said period, temporary internal Schengen border controls will be also be in place. Passengers arriving in Iceland will be required to fill out a Public Health Passenger Locator form and present it at the border inspection point, providing necessary information regarding where they will stay in quarantine and how it will be organised. Foreign nationals ,except EU/EEA, EFTA or UK nationals, are not allowed to enter Iceland unless they can demonstrate that their travel is essential. This measure introduced on 20 March 2020 will be extended until 15 May 2020.

The same decree also gives 30-day allowance for foreigners with expired visas who are currently in Italy to apply for visa extension. On the other hand, the Italian Embassy in Manila issued an advisory that for those who have received their visas valid from 11 March 2020 to 30 June 2020 and have not used it, the traveler is entitled to the issuance of a new visa for which the Embassy’s visa fee will be waved.

As of 12 May 2020, all people entering Laos would need to undergo health checks and COVID-19 tests, and 14 day-quarantine. Travelers who wish to be quarantined in hotels instead of government centers will be responsible for expenses, such as hotel fees, meals, and service charges. If the traveler does not exhibit COVID-19 symptoms after the quarantine, he or she will be issued a health certificate that will enable them to go home or work. Meanwhile, those entering Laos with flu or COVID-19 symptoms will be brought to hospitals for isolation and testing for the virus. Travelers would need to submit applications for entry before proceeding to Laos indicating the dates, transit countries, ports of entry, vehicles they will use, as well as their reasons for going to Laos. These applications will then be forwarded to MOFA’s taskforce committee relevant sectors for its consideration. After the approval of the application, a person who does not have an entry visa needs to apply for it with the nearest Lao embassy or consulate in the country where he/she submitted the application. The traveler must also have a medical certificate stating that he or she does not have COVID-19, and this certificate must be issued within 72 hours of the trip by a reliable health organization. On the other hand, foreigners who want to exit Laos need to register their purpose of travel with their respective embassies based in Vientiane, which will in turn submit proposal letters to the MOFA indicating the applicant’s name, passport number, time of departure, port of exit, and vehicles to be used by the foreigner.

As of 17 May 2020, Foreigners who are holders of "Malaysia My Second Home" (MM2H) visas, provided they produce COVID-19 negative test results upon arrival in Malaysia, diplomats who are based in Malaysia (with Diplomatic Passes issued by the MFA) and their dependents who hold valid Dependent Passes, as well as foreign nationals who are holders of spouse visa and children of Malaysians and Permanent Residents are allowed to enter and return to Malaysia during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) which commenced on 04 May. All arrivals are required to undergo health screening and quarantine of 14 days at Hotel Sama-Sama with a minimum cost of RM150.00/day for each person and full payment shall be made before quarantine to avoid any inconvenience. Holders of Expatriate Pass for essential services may submit application to enter Malaysia via the relevant Ministry/Agencies and Director-General of Immigration of Malaysia. Approval will be considered on case-to- case basis. Registered Household Workers (Domestic Helpers) must also get approval from the Director-General of Immigration before entry. If allowed, they are also subjected to 14-day quarantine. Entry ban on foreign visitors and non-residents until 09 June 2020. Transit allowed without leaving the dedicated airport area (e.g. transit from KLIA1 to KLIA2 is not allowed). All Malaysians are barred from traveling abroad during the Movement Control Order/CMCO.

When special reasons so indicate, such as specific care responsibilities for persons in Norway or other compelling welfare considerations. Since mid-March, entry into the Confederation is only permitted for Swiss citizens, people holding a residence permit and people who have to travel to Switzerland for professional reasons or who are in an “absolutely necessary” situation will be allowed to enter the Confederation by air or land. On 27 April 2020 (Monday), the Canton of Geneva will partially reopen five border crossing points with France. Those who cross the border exclusively for the purpose of shopping will be fined CHF100 ($103) upon reentering Swiss territory according to the Federal Customs Administration (FCA). The FCA clarified that shopping in itself was not being sanctioned, but rather the burden on resources that shopping trips create for customs agents.
