General Travel Restrictions by Foreign Countries on Foreigners Entering by Ship
(As of 24 March 2020)
Pursuant to the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, please be guided by the following travel restrictions imposed by various foreign countries on foreigners entering by ship .
Please note that this information is constantly changing and DFA will be updating the advisories accordingly.

Fiji |
All cruise ships entering Fijian waters would be required to make berth at ports in Suva or Lautoka, where all passengers on board will undergo medical and travel history checks. |
Seychelles |
Any person arriving in Seychelles by sea (except returning Seychellois citizens) will not be allowed to disembark if he/she has been to China (including SAR), South Korea, Iran, Europe, the United States of America and Australia in the last 14 days. All cruise ships and leisure boats are not allowed entry into Seychelles’ waters until further notice. |
Marshall Islands |
Borders closed which covers the arrival by air and cruise ship. |
New Zealand |
All cruise ships are banned from entering New Zealand until 30 June 2020. |
