Public Advisory: DFA Reports Another Country Has Lifted Border Restriction, Updates Infographics

PASAY CITY 26 October 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reports and clarifies that the Republic of Liberia has lifted its travel ban on arriving foreign nationals in the country since 21 July 2020, but subject to presentation of a negative COVID-19 test results issued at most 72 hours before arrival.

Previous information on travel restrictions for other countries and territories remain the same.

To date, among the 198 countries and territories included in the list, 7 no longer impose inbound restrictions; 57 allow entry subject to medical protocols and flight availability; 81 impose travel ban on tourists and allow entry based on exemptions; and 53 still have their inbound borders closed.

While the DFA, through its Foreign Service Posts, continues to update these infographics, the information contained herein is subject to change without prior and sufficient notice. Therefore, it is always best to check ahead of travel dates with the airlines that will be used as well as with relevant Embassies or Consulates before departure or before booking a ticket. END
