DFA Consular Office in General Santos City Commemorates National Heritage Month

GENERAL SANTOS 13 May 2020 – The DFA Consular Office in General Santos City joins the nation in celebrating the 2020 National Heritage Month.

This year’s theme, “Mga Kwentong Pamana” (Stories of Heritage), highlights the social and cultural impact of sharing knowledge, experiences, and stories of Filipino heritage in the preservation of our country’s legacies.

The Consular Office put together videos, infographics, and a photomontage of the personnel’s own experiences in order to share stories of Filipino folklore and customs and showcase the Philippines’ rich culture and tradition. This project aspires to encourage our fellow Filipinos to participate in the preservation of the Philippine heritage and appreciate the legacies of the Filipino cultural history.

The public is invited to spread the advocay online by using the hashtags #MgaKuwentongPamana and #NHM2020 in all posts related to the celebration. END
