DFA Welcomes Home 667 Overseas Filipinos from Barbados and UAE

CLARK CITY 22 June 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) warmly welcomed a total of 667 Overseas Filipinos from Barbados and United Arab Emirates who arrived on two separate flights at the Clark International Airport on Monday.

The Overseas Filipino repatriates were subjected to testing for COVID-19 upon their arrival. They were also briefed on quarantine protocols before they were transported to designated facilities where they will undergo mandatory quarantine in accordance with the guidelines established by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The DFA, together with its Philippine embassies and consulates around the world, continues to work with the various national agencies in assisting our Filipinos around the world in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. END
