DFA Consular Office in Zamboanga Commemorates 159^th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal

ZAMBOANGA 23 June 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in Zamboanga City joined the nation in commemorating the 159^th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal on 19 June 2020.

The program started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem inside the Consular Office. It was followed by a reading about the life and achievements of the National Hero by Administrative Officer Janice Q. Llanda. 

The occasion was livened up by a trivia game about Dr. Jose Rizal. Prizes consisting of essential items were given to personnel who answered the questions correctly.

The occasion culminated with a breakfast fellowship hosted by Officer-In-Charge Maria Annette F. Aquino-Herrera. END
