DFA Welcomes Home 223 Filipinos from Hong Kong SAR and France

PASAY CITY 29 June 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) warmly welcomed a total of 223 Overseas Filipinos from Hong Kong SAR and France who arrived on two separate flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 on Monday.

The Overseas Filipino repatriates were subjected to COVID-19 testing upon their arrival. They were also briefed on quarantine protocols before they were transported to designated facilities where they will undergo mandatory quarantine in accordance with the guidelines established by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The DFA, together with its Philippine embassies and consulates around the world, continues to work with the various national agencies in assisting Filipinos around the world in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. END
