Secretary Locsin Meets UN Resident Coordinator to the PH

PASAY CITY 21 July 2020 - Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr. and UN Resident Coordinator in the Philippines Gustavo Gonzalez held a meeting on 21 July 2020 to continue discussions to strengthen cooperation between the Philippines and the United Nations, under the Philippines-UN Partnership Framework for Sustainable Development (2019-2023).

UN Resident Coordinator Gonzalez assumed his position on 11 May 2020. He has over 25 years of experience in different UN entities, and most recently was the Director of the Business Development and Resource Mobilization Division of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Secretary Locsin and UN Resident Coordinator Gonzalez were joined by Assistant Secretary Noralyn Jubaira-Baja of the DFA-Office of United Nations and International Organizations (UNIO), Director Nina Cainglet of DFA-UNIO, and Ms Eden Lumilan, UN Development Coordination Specialist for Finance, during the meeting.
