DFA Consular Office in General Santos Sets Up Book Corner in Celebration of 30th Libraries and Information Services Month
GENERAL SANTOS CITY 12 November 2020 – In celebration of the 30th Libraries and Information Services Month this November, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in General Santos City set up a book corner as one of its initiatives to promote public awareness on the invaluable service that libraries and information centers render.
The reading corner which exhibits a collection of books and publications will serve as the CO’s expression of support to this annual celebration, by engaging public participation and encouraging regular reading to maintain good physical and mental health.
Located at the Releasing Section of the CO, the book corner will remain on display for the entire month of November 2020. END
