02 March 2021 – The 11th Philippines-Israel Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) was convened virtually by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Israel on 1 March 2021.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the status of ongoing cooperation on defense, agriculture, labor, consular matters, and science and technology; exchanged views on multilateral, regional, and international issues; and explored the potential for enhanced cooperation on trade, investment, and tourism, among other areas.
Leading their respective delegations were Foreign Assistant Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs Leslie J. Baja for the Philippine delegation and MFA Deputy Director General for Asia and the Pacific Gilad Cohen for the Israeli delegation. END
