CA Confirms Appointment of Five PH Ambassadors, 51 Foreign Service Officers

PASAY CITY 25 March 2021 – The Commission of Appointments (CA) has confirmed the nomination of five Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (AEP) and 51 Foreign Service Officers in a session held yesterday, 24 March 2021, and live-streamed from CA’s Youtube account.
Confirmed as AEPs were the following:
- Generoso De Guzman Calonge– Chief of Mission, Class I, as AEP to the Republic of Iraq;
- Maria Theresa B. Dizon-de Vega – Chief of Mission, Class I, as AEP to the Republic of Korea;
- Maria Lumen Banzon Isleta– Chief of Mission, Class I, as AEP to the Kingdom of Sweden with concurrent jurisdiction over he Republic of Finland;
- Maria Elena Palo Algabre – Chief of Mission Class, II, as AEP to the Republic of Turkey with concurrent jurisdiction over Georgia and the Republic Azerbaijan;
- Alan Lazaro Deniega – Chief of Mission Class II, as AEP to the Republic of Bangladesh with concurrent jurisdiction over the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives
