1 August 2013 – The Philippine Embassies in Damascus and Beirut are set to repatriate another group of Filipinos who were caught in the violence in Syria.
A total of 44 individuals who were declared physically fit to travel were brought to the Syrian-Lebanese border by the personnel of the Embassy in Damascus.
The group, which is now under the care of the Embassy in Beirut took a flight for Manila via Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
They will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal I at 10:10 in the evening today, August 01 via Emirates Airlines flight EK 334.
Upon the group’s arrival, the total number of repatriates will reach 4,471.
