PHL Consulate General in Xiamen Commemorates ASEAN’s 50^th Founding Anniversary

09 August 2017 XIAMEN — The Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen commemorated ASEAN’s 50^th Foundation Anniversary on August 08 during the flag raising ceremony with the singing of the ASEAN Spirit. With the Philippines as the ASEAN Chair this year with the theme: “Partnering for Change, Engaging the World”, the Consulate General will continue to pursue the promotion of ASEAN and its work in its jurisdiction including cooperation in all fields, particularly people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges with the host government and partner institutions.
