Filipino Singers Win at ASEAN Song Contest in Vietnam

29 August 2017 HANOI, VIETNAM — Ms. Darlin Joy Baje (third from left), a Filipino national working in Hanoi, won the first prize in the ASEAN Song Contest organized by the Voice of Vietnam.  Her winning song was entitled "One Night Only."  The final night was held on August 20 at the FLC Resort in Sam Son, Thanh Hoa province. The third prize went to another Filipino national working in Vietnam, ALVIR Anthony Subrado (second from left) who sang "Angels brought me here." Another Filipino singer, Mr. Melky Arboleda (leftmost), also joined the contest and was able to reach the semi-final level. Ambassador Noel Servigon (second from right) and spouse, Mrs. Marichu Servigon (third from right) congratulated the winners. Also present was Ms. Ana Tabita Piquero (rightmost), Filipino member of the Panel of Judges.
