27 December 2017 LOS ANGELES — Consul General Adelio Angelito S. Cruz attended the joint hosting by the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – Tri County (FACCTC) and the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – SouthBay Los Angeles (FACC-SLA) of a Christmas celebration honoring World War II Filipino-American veterans at the Bob Hope Patriotic Hall in downtown Los Angeles on December 19.
The lunch event, was attended by both members of the Chambers, former City of Carson Mayor Jim Dear including World War II veterans and their spouses, as well as Filipino Veterans Foundation Executive Director Dr. Jenny Batongmalaque.
During the event, Consul General Cruz thanked the Chambers for co-sponsoring the event. He also thanked the Veterans for their service and sacrifice during World War II. END
