Filipino Community in HK Celebrates Christmas Eve Mass

HONG KONG 25 December 2018 — The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, in cooperation with the Chaplaincy for Filipinos in Hong Kong, led the Filipino community in welcoming Christmas Day through the celebration of the Christmas eve mass at Chater Garden, Central in Hong Kong.
More than 5,000 Filipinos gathered to attend the said event, which was also broadcasted live over radio station “Pinoy Tayo Sanman” AM Radio Program 1044.
The Misa De Aguinaldo was preceded by the annual Christmas Eve program, which featured a parol-making contest sponsored by LBC Hong Kong.
Dedicated supporters of this annual event are the Couples for Christ Foundation for Family and Life Hong Kong and Pinoy Tayo Sanman, Eagle Commando Martial Arts Group, Black Authentic Karate-do Martial Arts Ryu International, Consulate General volunteers, and World Medical Support Services (WOMED) - Hong Kong Chapter.
