Consul General Flores Leads Flag Raising Ceremony on Phl Independence Day Celebration in Xiamen
13 July 2017 XIAMEN — Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores leads Consulate General’s officers and staff during the flag raising ceremony in celebration of the 119th Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence on June 12. The ceremony started the Consulate General’s series of activities highlighted by the annual diplomatic reception at Kempinski Hotel, followed by a concert of performers, The Nightingales and violinist JC Joya. To mount these events and ensure its success, the Consulate General partnered with both public and private sectors from the Philippines and Fujian including the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Tawid Heritage Center, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Wingli Ventures International Corporation.
