PH Embassy in Vienna Chorale Debuts on PH National Day Reception

VIENNA 05 July 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Vienna Chorale had its debut performance during the celebration of the 120th anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence at Vienna Marriott Hotel on 11 June 2018.
The Chorale is composed of the officers and staff of the Embassy as well as artists from the Filipino Community. The newly-created chorale opened the program with the Philippine National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang, and closed the same with its version of Lea Salonga’s Tagumpay Nating Lahat. The group was met with rousing reception both by the diplomatic corps and members of the Filipino Community.
The chorale, only one of the few in the 85 Philippine Foreign Service Posts, already received an invitation to perform at the upcoming Barrio Fiesta on 21 July 2018. END
