The second activity was the luncheon organized by the Pinoy sa Hanoi group to celebrate both their 25th founding anniversary and Philippine Independence Day. Embassy officers and staff joined around 200 members of the Filipino community in this double celebration at Hanoi Club Hotel. This event’s very lively program consisted of the Philippine national anthem, invocation, musical presentations, Filipiniana attire contest, a raffle draw and the group’s awarding of outstanding members. Pinoy sa Hanoi president Feliciano Felix, Jr., and CDA Uy delivered the welcome remarks and the inspirational talk, respectively.  (Hanoi PE photo)
