Filipinos in Stockholm Celebrate Kalayaan 2019
The Filipino community in Stockholm spearheaded by the umbrella organization; Filipino Community Leader's Association in Sweden (Filcomlas), headed by Letty Simpson, celebrated the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence with a concert by A Cappella Manila with the theme “Makipag-awit sa A Cappella Manila”. and various cultural presentations from the members of Filcomlas on 15 June 2019.
The Philippine Embassy in Oslo, represented by Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Maria Elena P. Algabre, showed support and congratulated the organizers on their event and delivered the Independence Day message of President Rodrigo Duterte. (Oslo PE photo)
