PH Embassy in Santiago Celebrates PH Independence with ASEAN, Pacific Alliance, Latin American Embassies
The Philippine Embassy in Santiago, led by Ambassador-designate to Chile Ma. Teresita C. Daza, marked the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence in a National Day Luncheon with the ASEAN Committee in Santiago composed of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand; the Pacific Alliance composed of Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, and other Latin American Embassies in Chile such as the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The Embassy also conducted a flag raising ceremony at the Chancery in Las Condes prior to the luncheon.
