PHL Embassy in Beirut Honors Jose Rizal’s Legacy as an Overseas Filipino

10 January 2018 BEIRUT – The Philippine Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon honored the heroism and legacy of Dr. Jose Rizal during the commemoration of his 121st death anniversary on 30 December 2017.
Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Bernardita L. Catalla urged the audience to emulate Rizal’s life overseas by upholding the best of Filipino values in order to bring pride to the Philippines. She reminded them to work with dignity and to respect the laws and regulations of their host countries at all times. END
