PHL Embassy in Ankara Celebrates 2018 National Women’s Month

13 March 2018 ANKARA – The Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, together with the Filipino Community, celebrates National Women’s Month on March 11 at the Embassy premises by providing a photo exhibit of notable Filipino women entitled “The Filipina: Trail-blazers, Decision-makers, Leaders and Advocates”.

The photo exhibit is aimed at inspiring younger generations of Filipino nationals and other nationalities to emulate the life and work of earlier generations of strong and resilient women who have effected change in the Philippines and across the globe.

As a way of sharing the exhibit and reaching out to its Kababayans in Turkey and other countries, the Philippine Embassy also launched for the first time, the digital version of the photo exhibit. This can be viewed in the Philippine Embassy’s official Facebook account, FilipinlerBuyukelciligi and page The Philippine Embassy in Turkey.
