PHL Embassy in Prague Celebrates 2018 National Women’s Month

Members of the Filipino Community in Czech Republic celebrating 2018 National Women’s Month

15 March 2018 PRAGUE – The Philippine Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic joined the nation in the celebration of the 2018 National Women’s Month with the theme "We Make Change Work for Women" as part of its Gender and Development (GAD) Program for 2018.

The Embassy, in partnership with the European Network of Filipino Diaspora in Czech Republic (ENFID CZ), organized a lecture and workshop on "Workers’ Rights in Czech Republic" and “Financial Literacy” at the chancery’s Multi-purpose Hall.

Ms. Magda Faltová, Director, Association for Integration and Migration, a non-profit organization defending the rights of foreigners in Czech Republic, talked about the rights of workers while Chargé d’ affaires, a.i. Dr. Juan E. Dayang, Jr. conducted a workshop on “Financial Literacy”.

Around 20 Filipinos attended the event. END
