PHL Embassy in Oslo Joins the 2018 National Women’s Month Celebration

2614 March 2018 OSLO – The Philippine Embassy in Oslo, in partnership with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), Philippine Foreign Service Posts, and DFA consular and satellite offices, joined the celebration of the 2018 National Women’s Month, and International Women’s Day on March 08.

With the PCW theme “WE Make Change Work for Women,” the Philippine Embassy held a short program at its consular section highlighting the importance of commemorating Women’s Month and International Women’s Day. PCW brochures and campaign materials were distributed to participating consular clients. In the afternoon, Philippine Embassy representatives participated in the annual march celebrating International Women’s Day, or “Kvinnedagen”, in Youngstorget, Oslo, Norway. END
