PHL Embassy in Ankara Conducts Consular Mission, Celebrates National Women’s Month 2018

03 April 2018 ANKARA – The Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey conducted a consular mission and celebrated National Women’s Month 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The team processed 66 e-passport applications and 22 extensions, 40 overseas voter registrations, 18 SPA/acknowledgements, 11 authentications, 1 report of birth, 1 report of marriage and addressed various ATN inquiries. Post received 79 applications for Embassy ID registrations of Filipinos in Turkey and released 88 e-passports and 95 Embassy IDs.
The team and the Filipino Community in Istanbul also celebrated National Women’s Month 2018 with a digital photo exhibit entitled “The Filipina: Trail-blazers, Decision-Makers, Leaders, Advocates.” The digital photo exhibit showcased photos of more than 90 women leaders in six fields: Political and International Relations; Socio-cultural and Sports; Business and Economy; Science and Technology; ‘Sheroes’; Filipina Overseas and "Advocates."
Nearly 300 members of the Filipino community in Istanbul attended the event. END
