Xiamen-Philippines Cruise Tours Set to Boost Philippine Tourism in 2017

11 May 2017 XIAMEN — Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores met recently with cruise officials and was informed that the following cruise tours are scheduled for 2017: 1) July 07-12, 6-day/5-night Xiamen-Manila-Boracay cruise tour joint venture between Skysea and the Royal Caribbean Cruise company with 2,000 tourists mostly from Fujian province; and, 2) October 18-23, another operator, the Princess Cruise, is organizing a larger group, with at least 3,000 tourists, using the same cruise routes.

Consul General Flores suggested for Skysea to consider other tourists destinations in the Philippines (i.e. Batangas, Vigan, Bohol, Cebu and Davao) in their future operations.
