1 July 2013 - A delegation from the Philippine Department of Finance (DOF) paid a visit to Ambassador Evelyn D. Austria-Garcia, at the Chancery of the Philippine Embassy in Prague on June 20.

The said delegation was composed of Director Ma. Nanette Diaz, Atty. William Beluso, Jr., and Mr. Robert Dominick Mariano from the Bureau of Treasury and Ms. Sharon Almanza, Mr. Dennis Joseph Landicho, Mr. Rommel Rivero, and Mr. John Jeffrey Ramirez from the DOF Main Office.

The DOF delegation was in Prague from June 16 to 21 to undertake a study visit on debt and financial assets management with the Czech Ministry of Finance (MOF). 

The study visit is part of the Technical Cooperation Program which was established by the Memorandum of Cooperation between the DOF and the MOF. 

The said Memorandum was signed by DOF Secretary Cesar V. Purisima and Czech Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek during the former’s official visit to the Czech Republic on March 26. END
