1 July 2013 - Department of Education (DepEd) Undersecretary Mario Deriquito, National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Commissioner Alice Pañares, Director Zenaida Domingo and Loi Domingo of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) National Commission of the Philippines visited the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok on June 22 and were welcomed by Third Secretary Princess Tomas-Tayao.

They discussed the role of DepEd in raising awareness of the ASEAN Community among Philippine students at primary and secondary levels, and the public in general through media campaigns. END
