5 July 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General together with the Laguna Association of Guam and the Filipino Community of Guam celebrated the 152^nd birth anniversary of the Philippine national hero Dr. Jose Rizal with the flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies at the monument of the national hero located at the official residence in Tamuning on June 19.

The wreath laying was attended by Senators Anthony Ada, Frank Aguon, and Mike Limtiaco of the 32^nd Guam Legislature, Consul General Robert Ruecho of the Federated State of Micronesia, Consul General Shin Jae-hyun of the Republic of Korea, officers and members of the Filipino Community of Guam, the Laguna Association and other Filipino organizations on Guam.

The ceremony was followed by the traditional Filipino breakfast prepared by the Laguna Association. END
