PH Consul General Graces Ceremonial Turnover of Food Donation of Iglesia ni Cristo in Milan

MILAN 02 November 2020 – Philippine Consul General to Milan Bernadette C. Fernandez graced the ceremonial turnover of food items donated by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) in Milan at the Associazione Banco Alimentare (Food Bank) della Lombardia in Via Giovanni XXIII, Muggio, Monza Brianza, Italy on 31 October 2020.

The activity is part of the global initiative Aid to Humanity of INC that coincided with the birthday of Executive Minister V. Eduardo Manalo. It was organized in collaboration with the office of the Vice Mayor of Milan Anna Scavuzzo under the Milan Food Program. Consul General Fernandez was joined in the event by Minister Dylan Ramos, other INC officials, as well as Food Bank officer-in-charge Marcello Cosentino.

In her message, Consul General Fernandez said that the food donation is proof of the long-standing cooperation that Filipino community groups like INC have with local communities abroad.  END
