ASEAN-Japan Centre Officials Call on PH Ambassador, Express Support to Promoting Economic Cooperation Between PH and Japan

TOKYO 26 November 2020 – Philippine Ambassador to Japan Jose C. Laurel V recently welcomed officials from the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC) led by Secretary-General Masataka Fujita, Ms. Rafaelita Castro, and Ms. Katrina Navallo who visited the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo and expressed support for upcoming AJC activities promoting Philippine and Japan economic cooperation on 25 November 2020.
Ambassador Laurel thanked SG Fujita for the support given by AJC for the recently concluded Eats More Fun Digital Campaign and the upcoming Philippines-Japan Business Investment Virtual Forum 2020 to be held on 01 December 2020.
The AJC directly supports the Philippine economic diplomacy by networking and increasing goodwill with ASEAN Member Countries and Japanese public and private sector officials, and heightening the profile of the Philippines and ASEAN in Japan as a favorable investment, trade, and tourism destination.
