HONOLULU 10 December 2020 – The Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu donated a wreath for the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Commemoration held at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial in Honolulu on 07 December 2020.
The United States observes Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day annually to honor and remember the 2,403 service members and civilians who were killed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 07 December 1941.
Pearl Harbor survivors, World War II veterans and visitors gather in Hawaii every year for the commemoration. Due to COVID-19, however, this year’s gathering was simpler and closed to the public. END
