PH Ambassador Presents Her Credentials to Ukrainian President

KYIV 15 December 2020 – Philippine Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz presented her credentials to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the Mariinsky Palace in Kyiv on 11 December 2020.
Ambassador Ruiz conveyed warm greetings and sincere best wishes of Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and the Philippines’ commitment to expand relations with Ukraine.
President Zelenskyy expressed the firm desire of Ukraine to intensify dialogue, partnership and cooperation with the Philippines and also his country’s appreciation for Philippine support at the multilateral level.
Aside from Ambassador Ruiz, the ambassadors designate of the following countries also presented their credentials, namely: (Resident) – Uzbekistan, Norway, Egypt, Australia, Tajikistan, Pakistan; (Non-Resident) – Yemen, Jordan, Thailand, Mongolia.
Ambassador Ruiz is the Philippines’ resident Ambassador to Poland and is also the Philippines’ duly accredited non-resident Ambassador to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. END
