PH Ambassador to Australia, Hon Damian Drum MP Reaffirm Strength of 75 Years of PH-AU Relations
CANBERRA 19 February 2021 — Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega met with Hon Damian Drum MP, Member for Nicholls, Victoria, and member of the Australia Philippines Parliamentary Group at Parliament House on 17 February 2021.
Ambassador De La Vega shared developments on Philippines-Australia relations and commemorative activities for the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2021.
Hon Drum paid tribute to the work ethic and contributions of Filipinos in Australia. He warmly welcomed the full opening of the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne which will further support the deepening of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Australia. END
