ABU DHABI 04 June 2021 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) chartered a Cebu Pacific flight on 02 June 2021 to bring home 364 OFW repatriates under the Bayanihan to Recover as One Act (Bayanihan 2, R.A. 11519). 

The repatriation flight was jointly coordinated by the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai. Aside from carrying OFWs who met difficulties during the pandemic, the flight also included medical patients, deportees, and some minor children. Embassy, Consulate, POLO-OWWA, and DSWD officials and staff were on hand to oversee the departure of the repatriates from Dubai International Airport. END
