SF consular outreach in Seattle1

16 July 2013 - The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco recently conducted a consular outreach mission from June 21 to 23   in Seattle, Washington. 

Conducted in partnership with the Filipino Community of Seattle (FCS), the outreach mission in Seattle was held at the latter’s center.  The Filipino Community of Seattle, was a recipient of the Presidential Banaag award in 2012 

The eight-member consular team extended a total of 906 services for passport, notarials/Legalization, civil registry and dual citizenship. 

SF consular outreach in Seattle2This was the 4th in the Northwest Pacific Area states under the Consulate’s jurisdiction and the 22nd conducted by the Consulate since the beginning of the year.

After California, the state of Washington has the second largest concentration of Filipinos under this Consulate’s 10-state jurisdiction. 

Consul General Marciano A. Paynor extended the Consulate’s gratitude and appreciation to our kababayans in Seattle, particularly the members and volunteers of the Filipino Community of Seattle for their spirit of volunteerism and cooperation which have been vital to   the   successful conduct of outreach missions in the service of our community.
