31 July 2013 – Ambassador Carlos C. Salinas presented to the French Co-prince of the Principality of Andorra, President Francois Hollande at the Palais l´Elyséé, Paris, his credentials as Philippine Non-Resident Ambassador to Andorra on July 11.
Present at the ceremonies were officials from the Foreign Ministry of Andorra, including Andorran Foreign Minister Gilbert Saboya.
The ceremony involved the presentation of Ambassadors to Spain and Andorra from ten countries: the Philippines, Thailand, Honduras, Belgium, India, Pakistan, Denmark, Sweden, Monaco and Vietnam.
In his remarks, President Hollande expressed the importance of the relations of Andorra with the various countries represented at the ceremony and encouraged expanded cooperation with them in the future.
During his presentation, Ambassador Salinas extended the warmest greetings from President Benigno S. Aquino III and wishes for good health, prosperity and continued and enhanced cooperation between the Philippines and Andorra. END
