23 February 2016 - President Aquino during his latest trip made a technical stopover in Guam on February 19.
At the airport, the President was met by Philippine Consul General to Agana Marciano R. De Borja and Guam Governor Eddie Baza Calvo. There also to welcome the President were Guam Government officials, Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio; Senator Judith Won Pat, Speaker of the 33rd Guam Legislature; Chief Justice Robert Torres and his wife, Senator Mary Camacho Torres; Senator Dennis G. Rodriguez, Jr.; and Senator James Espaldon.
Personnel of the Consulate General in Agana, namely, Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian, Consul Mark Francis C. Hamoy and Protocol Officer Mr. Allan Tangyan, along with 18 Filipino community organization leaders, also greeted the President at the airport. END
