Update No. 2 on Financial Assistance to Stranded OFWs

15 September 2018 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is reminding overseas Filipino workers who were affected by flight cancellations due to supertyphoon Ompong that they can proceed to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Clark International Airport to receive the P5,000.00 financial assistance allotted for them.

Affected OFWs are required to personally appear and submit their airline ticket showing their original date of departure; reissued ticket showing new date of departure; Employment Contract; and Overseas Employment Certificate.

The DFA will have teams stationed in these airports until Sunday, 16 September 2018. END
