Statement: On Death of Two Filipinos in California Car Crash
03 October 2018 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) today extended its condolences to the families of two Filipinas who perished in a car crash in Palmdale, California, on Saturday.
The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles said it is coordinating with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office which is expected to release details of the crash that killed the two women, both in their 60s.
In his report to Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter S. Cayetano, Consul General Adel Angelito Cruz said the two were killed after the vehicle they were in crashed into a construction truck on 14 Freeway near Palmdale Boulevard early Saturday morning.
Consul General Cruz said the Consulate General is ready to extend the necessary assistance to the families of the victims. END
