Bulletin: On the Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake in Iran
26 November 2018 – There are no Filipinos among the hundreds of people hurt after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Iran’s western province of Kermanshah near its border with Iraq on Sunday evening.
Ambassador to Iran Wilfredo Santos informed the Home Office that the Philippine Embassy in Tehran was able to contact the 10 Filipinos in the affected areas and were told they are all safe.
The Embassy will continue to monitor developments and stands ready to provide the necessary assistance. END
