Bulletin: On the Death of a Filipina in UAE

26 November 2018 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) conveys its condolences to the family of a 22-year-old Filipina working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who allegedly fell to her death last week.

Consul General Paul Raymond Cortes of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai reported to the Home Office that the deceased was reported to have fallen from the third floor of a building in Ajman on 23 November 2018. She was declared dead upon arrival at the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital.

Consul General Cortes said the Consulate General is in touch with the relatives of the deceased and is closely coordinating with Ajman authorities in the investigation of her death and in the repatriation of her remains. END
