The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait reported that they received a report on the case on the midnight of 16 May 2019 and has assigned a lawyer to handle it. The Embassy is in close coordination with local authorities to gather evidence and investigate the untimely demise of the Filipina.
Embassy Charge d'Affaires Mohd. Noordin Pendosina N. Lomondot also said that the Embassy has also requested Kuwait’s General Forensics and Evidence Department to expedite the release of the forensic report, which is usually processed within four to six weeks.
