Additional DOH WeChat Hotlines on n-Coronavirus Outbreak for Filipinos in China
04 February 2020 — The Department of Health (DOH), in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), opens two additional 24/7 WeChat Hotlines for Filipinos in China, to provide information, advice and medical assistance on the 2019 novel-Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
Filipinos in Shanghai and the neighboring areas of Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, and Zhejiang can access a dedicated WeChat Hotline by scanning with their WeChat apps the QR code below:
The other dedicated Hotline is for Filipinos in Beijing and areas of Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, and the Autonomous Regions of Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and Xizang (Tibet). The Filipinos in said areas may contact DOH by accesing the QR code below:
All Filipinos in China may continue to contact the first WeChat Hotline announced on 31 January 2020. Their calls and messages will be received and answered by Filipino doctors, psychologists, and nurses trained in crisis intervention similar to 2019-nCoV.
Filipinos in China are encouraged to share this information and the DOH Wechat Hotline QR Codes with the rest of the Filipino community. END
